Controlling OPEX in enterprise communications

Many bold statements have been made about the cost-saving potential of VoIP, but as IP telephony deployments expand, organizations are realizing that they need to strategically plan their day-to-day operations and use the right management technology to actually reduce the cost of running their communications systems.

In this 60-minute webinar, industry analyst Robin Gareiss of Nemertes Research discusses findings from Nemertes’ studies and interviews with enterprise end users. Ms Gareiss describes the structure of operational costs in hybrid and all-IP deployments, and examines the financial impact of using management tools to control systems and, therefore, costs.

The webinar is moderated by VoiceCon Co-chair Eric Krapf and is the second installment of a four-part webinar series sponsored by PROGNOSIS held in conjunction with VoiceCon 2008.
