Prognosis Now Certified for Integration with ServiceNow

August 12 2014, Sydney, Australia - Integrated Research (ASX:IRI) today announced it has received certification of its integration with ServiceNow. Certification by ServiceNow signifies that Prognosis has successfully completed a set of defined tests focused on integration interoperability, security and performance. The certification also ensures best practices are utilized in the design and implementation of Prognosis integration with ServiceNow.

The integration enables customers of Integrated Research to use ServiceNow IT service automation to reduce incident resolution times, as well as improve reporting and upgrade capacity planning for their Unified Communications (UC) ecosystems.

Prognosis performance management software provides enterprises, service providers and contact centers with real-time insights into UC assets such as IP phones, gateways and PBXs. The software populates the ServiceNow configuration management database (CMDB) with UC data, enabling companies to eliminate inconsistencies between data sources, gain deep insights into their asset portfolios and identify opportunities to make improvements.

“Once entered into the CMDB, information from UC assets is synchronized and updated automatically to enable full lifecycle management and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) compliance,” says John Dunne, Vice President of Products, Integrated Research. “IT operations teams will also be able to use an automated solution to reduce the time needed to resolve voice and UC incidents and avoid costly escalations.”
